author bio

Raised by a welder and a Jack Mormon in the small town of Wallsburg, Utah, Camri Kohler migrated all the way to Salt Lake City. Camri earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah before completing her Masters of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Camri is the Digital Initiatives Librarian at the J. Willard Marriott Library of the University of Utah and spends her free time with her partner, her dogs, or her tomatoes. She is a mess of unresolved issues, which are the primary inspiration for her writing.

Her debut novel, PEACHY, was published under Lake Country Press in 2023, followed by its sequel PARED in 2024. The final installment of the trilogy, BURIED, is set to release soon.

Camri is currently working on weird horror “WRIST SQUIDS,” a cephalopod meets human biology horror story set at the bottom of the sea. She is represented by Helen Lane of Ki Agency.
